Is it possible to control what turns you on?

Is there any way for a person to choose what turns them on or makes them aroused? If someone has a really weird fetish and is only aroused by something really strange, is there any way to stop being aroused by whatever it is? is there any way for that person to become aroused by normal stuff? like their boyfriend for example?Is it possible to control what turns you on?
Personally, I don't believe there is a way for people to control what turns them on. Fetishism is the product of an event, experience, or obsession from the fetishist's childhood; since you can't change your childhood life, it is either impossible or extremely difficult to start becoming turned on by ';normal'; things.Is it possible to control what turns you on?
Yes, NLP (neuro-linguistic programming). You should look it up and find some information on it online.





It's almost like hypnotism, associating a word, or feeling(sense of touch) to invoke an emotion.





It would be best if it were a subconscious change, but then your boyfriend would have to learn all about NLP, and then do it to you without you knowing. Unless of course you are extremely adept at it.





Then there's always talking to your boyfriend about your fetish.





It definitely is possible to cause someone to be turned on when they see you by using what are called ';anchors'; in NLP terminology, but I'm not totally sure if you could actually cover up a fetish, essentially it would just be creating a new one I suppose.
Nope. There is anything you can do about what turns you on. Hence why things such as being homosexual isn't a choice- there is nothing you can do about it. Sorry if your fetish is weird, but who knows, maybe you'll find a guy who is into it too.
well supposedly ur brain is ur body's biggest sex organ, so i guess nothing is impossible in that respect.
