After going off of birth control pills, how long did it take for your cycles to be normal again?

I have been off of mine since December and I have had 42 day cycles for the last three months. Before the pills, I had 30-32 day cycles. Anybody know what's up with this and when it will go back to normal?After going off of birth control pills, how long did it take for your cycles to be normal again?
I can't even remember what my cycle was before the pill. I'd been on it for 10 years about. But since I've been off the pill (4 months), my cycle has been consistently 29 days, with clear ovulation every month. So I'm pretty satisfied. Expected it to take longer. Before I was on BC pills I had irregular periods, then after I was off of them my periods have ranged from 35-43 days. I have been off of them since Sept. 2007
