I plan to go off of my Birth Control Pills next month and want to get pregnant again soon. My OB told me when I stop the Birth Control Pills to start taking a Pre-Natal Vitamin.After you go off of Birth Control Pills, How long can it take to get pregnant?

Vitamin is to be ready.
Years ago I stopped my bc pills at the end of the pack, it was towards the end of January. My son was born the first week of November that year. He was due the end of October. Start the vitamins as soon as you stop your bc pills.
I was pregnant the next month. I had always been told it would take 3-6 months, which is why I quit taking them when I did.
if its just pills, you can get pregnant if you miss just a couple...so its definitely right away. other forms of BC do take time to reverse, but not the pill. if you're fertile, and he's fertile, you shouldn't have any trouble conceiving....and just think of the fun you'll have working on it.


if you do have trouble, its not the pill refusing to reverse. If you've stopped having periods on the pill (mine get so light as to be nonexistent) there is a 5 day course of medicine called ';Provera'; which will bring your period on. THen you'll be back on cycle and should be able to conceive the next month.

I have heard it can be anywhere from immediatly to several months.
I've read that it can take up to 6 months.
that all depends on Ur body and how fertile u and Ur spouse r.
pretty much within a week or so, depends what part of the pack you quit in, if you wait till the placebo week you will have to wait through that as usual
