Antibiotics vs. birth control pill? How long does it take untill my pills are full strength again?

I've been on antibiotics for 2 weeks. I know they diminish the effectiveness of my birth control pills, so we've been using condoms. I finished the antibiotics today. When is it safe to stop using condoms? (my next period should start May 25th.)Antibiotics vs. birth control pill? How long does it take untill my pills are full strength again?
I was on antibiotics a few months ago. At the time I was told by the pharmacist that I needed to use condoms while on the antibiotics and for 2 weeks after finishing taking the antibiotics. It basically takes 2 weeks to get the antibiotics out of your system. So yeeah quite a while! Sucked like a pain in the *** at the time for me and my partner!Antibiotics vs. birth control pill? I had been taking amoxicillin for a sinus infection. I asked my gynecologist how long the antibiotic would effect my birth control and she said that it effects it for a month AFTER you take your last dose. So for a full month you need back up, like a condom
