I've been on Depo-Provera (';the shot';) for two years, and before that I was on the pill for a year. I haven't gained any weight, and if anything I've lost weight. Weight gain is very specific to your body, and if you're concerned read your choice of birth control's website-it should list helpful information.Did you gain weight from birth control when you started taking it?
i did. i gained 15 pounds.


Then i lost about 40 pounds.
