I get nervous really easily is there any way for me to control it?

i get nervous over the littleist things like basketball tryouts i was so nervous i did really bad even though im actully good it didnt leave a good first inpression some one help plzI get nervous really easily is there any way for me to control it?
EVERYONE, and I mean everyone gets nervous before things like you described. This is called getting the ';butterflies'; and it is natural. Some folks are better at hiding it than others. This is nothing more than a natural reaction to adrenalin being pumped into your body. The best athletes realize this and utilize it to their advantage because the more adrenalin you have the better you will perform. The best way to control this is to realize what is going on, accept it for what it is, and use it to your advantage. ';Just do it'; is more than an old Nike slogan, it is a way of life.I get nervous really easily is there any way for me to control it?
Go with friends you feel comfortable with like get your friends involved with what you are doing. Get the friends you find it easy to talk to and makes you hyper and fun. Don't get nervous. You are probly thinking that you are gonna get made fun of but I bet you you arn't if your good. Same thing with every other thing you do. Be with people you feel close to
Don't worry, I get like that all the time -- one time I completely screwed up a band audition (trombone), because I'd clamped my hand over my trigger out of nervousness, which made all the notes come out wrong. Anyways, that's completely normal; just do some slow breathing exercises.
try meditative breathing. it can really help with anxiety and nervousness. there are lots of books and articles on the web about how to do it properly.
