Most BCP will supress ovulation the first month you take them- some within 7 days of the first tablet, some two weeks. Most doctors recommend you use a backup form of birth control for the first month to be safest. If you took your tablet, it's in your system. There won't be any way to absolutely tell you - but if you get your withdrawl bleed during your week off, then you can consider that evidence it's working as advertized. The pill is incredibly effective in daily use, and after all these years I think you can pretty well depend on it to work. How long does it take for the birth control pill to enter your pill for the first time on it?
I think you have to take it for a month before it become effective.
it takes a week for it to kick in and work.. but sometimes it can take a couple days so it depends how your body takes it
