Is it impossible to control our dreams?

If we can, how and if we can't,why? Is it impossible to control our dreams?
Yes it is possible to control your dreams--although it does take some practice. The general strategy that psychology recommends, particularly for those with nightmares, is to tell yourself a dream story right as you are going to sleep. The more rich the detail you can imagine the more likely this will either spill into your dreams or change the tone of your dreams. Additionally, because some dreams involve random content that has been seen by the brain during the day, it's recommended that you don't watching distressing or disturbing television or films before bed or read distressing material. Additionally, individuals prone to nightmares should upon waking reimagine the content of the nightmares and place themselves in the position of hero, defeating whatever fearful object is there. Finally, some individuals are able to recognize that they are dreaming while in the dream and change the content of their dreams.

Yet there is also a degree of randomness and out-of-control with dreams. There are many theories as to why this is depending on who you talk to. Some researchers believe that dream content reflects subconscious issues and thus must be analyzed and brought to conscious awareness. There has been increasing neurological support for this theory, suggesting that there is in fact a subconscious that processes events in more symbolic, emotional, and preverbal ways. Other researchers believe that dreams are simple blips in the brain in which the brain randomly links images and experiences from the day with previously remembered information with no purpose. And finally, there are those who believe that dreams reflect spiritual and/or psychic phenomena. Research has found mixed evidence for this. As such, you can control your dreams to some degree, but not all the time ;0)

Yes, you can control your dreams...you would need work with your spirit %26amp; subconscious mind in order to do this. There are books out that tell you how this is done.
Don't know if it's true but i heard 100,000 Americans can control their dreams, i can't though lol

Learn young skywalker, and a powerful jedi you will be
Yes you can control them
Yes, it is possible. I used to have dreams where I could control what was happening as a child, though I hardly ever have them now. See this Wikipedia article on dreaming I found: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lucid_dream鈥?/a>
yes dreams are your subconscious at work
Our creator had this in mind when He wanted to assist humans in their lives without being obtrusive. Man has the possibility of being in tune with his fore bearers. No one else in heaven gives a hoot for you. Don't block dreams and try to be in tune for daily guidance.
**** no.

Dreams and desires connect. Advertising companies know this: To influence buying behaviour you must influence people's desires and that means influencing their dreams.

We, as individuals, can control our dreams using the same methods. First, study your dreams. Write them down, reflect on them; anything but ignore them. Then, plan the dream(s) you want to have. Record your progress. Persist.

Remember, you are part of society. Your dreams can be influenced by others and you can influence theirs. Consider this as you proceed.

Life is but a dream.
yes, your dreams are an interpetation of your inner emotions.

Learn to control your emotions, learn to control your dreams.
Not easy but possible. Can only be done at certain times.
