I know that in pre-cana they talked about using the rhythm method of birth control. How exactly does it work?

I am married so don't worry about diseases and things like that. I just forgot how it works. ThanksI know that in pre-cana they talked about using the rhythm method of birth control. How exactly does it work?
The rhythm method is based on knowing your body (when you ovulate, etc). You have to chart your fertility pattern and be very diligent. You must also remain abstinate during the days you are fertile. Even with perfect use, there is still up to a 9% failure rate. You have to keep perfect records, too. In typical use the failure rate is 20%.

This website breaks it all down, and includes several different methods:

Good luck!
