What is the name of that new birth control that lets you take it for threee months straight?

before taking the placebo. What is the name of that new birth control that lets you take it for threee months straight?
seasonal' but don't take that...God intended for you to have a period every month if your not pregnant...don't mess with your body like that or you'll pay laterWhat is the name of that new birth control that lets you take it for threee months straight?
I take seasonel and i do just fine. Everyone that i have heard of taking the shot has nothing but bad things to say about it. it really messes with your hormones. I use the generic seasonel and its 120 dollars for the three month supply. Not only do i have a period every three months they are usually very light with lessened simptoms. i love this pill but its not for everyone. I have PMDD which means my pms symptoms start about 2 weeks before pms and i get it all back pain, cramps, 5lbs in water weight, mood swings, increased appetite, hot flashes, etc. The pill lessens them because its a high dose of hormones so i would recomend it just make sure your body can handle the high dose. Good Luck :P
Its called seaonale, or seasonique!

Yes it is safe to take, it wont mess up your hormones, and PLEASE dont consider the Depo shot, that WILL mess you up more than you'd like!

ETA ~ You don't NEED a period every month, if that were the case Seaonale wouldn't exist!
Seasonique or Seasonale are packaged so that you have a withdrawal bleed only every 3 months. This is a birth control pill that you take every day. It is made of two female hormones- estrogen and a progestin.
i have no idea, but that's really not healthy to do. it will mess up your hormones really bad. you need to have your period every month.
Seasonale....

The depo shot is also only once every 3 months.. BUT I WOULD NOT SUGGEST IT!!! It made me have my period for 3 months straight!!!
I dont know but i would reccomend Depo Provera injections. you get a shot in your lower back once every three months.
