Antibiotics can lower the effectiveness of birth control, which is why the instructions say you should use a back-up method [like condoms] until you're no longer taking the antibiotics.Does taking antibiotics with birth control prevent it from working?
yes it can
Yes it can mess it up. If a women is taking both they have a interaction with each other that causes the birth control to not function properly which can result in pregnancy!
definatly does...my husbad is living proof lol some stuff in family guy is actually true lol funny huh
Yep, it's true. So if you're ever taking antibiotics while on birth control, remember to use condoms! :)
Depends on the antibiotic. Rifampin is the only proven one. But I have known women to get pregnant on the pencillium family antibiotic. I was on Bactrim DS and did not get pregnant, I am also on the lowest dose possible. So it depends.
yes!!!!!!!!!! use a back up method
Yes,it does.
