Its a bad idea all together. First the birth control is trying to change your hormones so you don't get pregnant; while the plan b pill makes you get your period early. It only takes a month for the birth control to protect you fully. If you want to be more fully protected, wear a condom!!

the bottle line is you take PlanB up to 72 hours after unprotective sex...so if the birth control didn't work, I would ASSUME (since I am not a doctor) that you could also take PlanB right away to prevent a pregnancy...don't think it's a bad idea or one stopping the other from working...but then again I think this is something you really should ask a doctor...
