cause when i run on the track i breath heavy and they tell me to control my breath and i don't know how. and when i run why does my feet burn/hurt and i don't mean athletes foot cause it burn when i run. What does it mean when they say control your breathing?
When they say control your breathing they're trying to tell you not to pant, short fast breathing. Slow deep breaths are better for long distance. The natural reaction to running out of breath when exercising is to pant. But running long distances requires you to learn to breathe differently in order to conserve your oxygen supply and help prevent acid building up in your muscles causing burning and cramping.
It takes a lot of practice to get it right. You really should be asking the coach about this.
I don't know why your feet burn. Usually that happens when you're wearing the wrong kind of sneakers.
God bless.
