You'd be surprised to know that many women begin using birth control pills to regulate their cycles or as a treatment for ovarian cysts, control fibroid tumor growth, etc.
If you're not going to be sexually active, and you have none of the conditions I mentioned above, you don't need it.
However, when the day comes that you decide to be on The Pill, be sure to back it up with condoms. Yes, The Pill is 98% effective, but there are thousands of women who have in fact, gotten pregnant while taking it. And it does not protect you against STDs and HIV/AIDS.
If you miss pills, don't take it at the same time everyday, or perhaps end up on another medication that counteracts it's effects, the likelihood of an unplanned pregnancy increases.
Good luck.Is Birth Control worth it when you have tried it in the past or not even sexual active as well?
I don't think so. I know it's touted as a wonder drug, but it messes with hormones, which is not good for you. Unless you have pcos or endometriosis or something really serious, I don't think there're very good reasons for taking it when you're not sexually active. Is Birth Control worth it when you have tried it in the past or not even sexual active as well?
I don't recommend birth control (hormones) because I believe it messes up the women's system. I've even heard about them having abortive effects.
