I stopped taking birth control recently hoping to get pregnant soon, I was on birth control off and on for about 4 years. Is there a certain amount of time it takes for the birth control to fully release itself from my body once ive stopped taking it? Also, when does the body ovulate more? any answers are appreciated! thank you.How long will it take me to get pregnant once I stop taking birth control? I have taken it off%26amp;on for 4 years.?

It's different for everyone. Some women return to normal right away, others take months, there's no real way to tell in advance though.
I think it is about to take around three months for your body to adjust being off the pill, but everyone is different This is my third month off the pill so I'm hoping for the best!
Some people happens right away but others like myself I been off for a year and one month now and still nothing so I guess just up to your body but a lot people takes up to year after coming off the pill.
I was on the pill off and on, more on, for 10 years, I got off of it on January 9th, I started my period on January 11th, was suppose to have my period again on February 8th, well it never came, i'm 7 weeks and 2 days pregnant. Everyone is different. If you are really trying then you can buy an ovulation monitor, or some ovulation tests and get to know your body and when you ovulate.
