The pill is 99% effective. You still have to worry about std's and such. I've known 3 girls to get pregnant while on the pill. I don't know if I would trust it completely or not. If you don't want to use condoms, try a spermicide.
The only sure way to NOt get pregnant is to not have sex.


But the pill should prevent you from getting pregnant.


If you get pregnant, there are a lot of people who would take your baby if you don't want it. But there is no one who wants your diseases so use condoms too.
It's very possible to get pregnant while on birth control. My sister-in-law did. So even if you take your pill every day at the same time you are still at risk for becoming pregnant. Better tell him to use a condom as well.
