You can only control yourself. Control of yourself is control in your life. Trying to control another is futile. Control of yourself is discipline- doing what needs to be done, staying away from the destructive and progressing as a person.What does it mean that it is impossible to control someone?
It means, you cannot make someone do what you want them to do and you need to stop trying and work on your own issues.

But you can only control someone if the person lets you (willingly or not). As an individual, the only person you can control is yourself. The only way to control another individual is, again, if the person lets you.
