I took my birth control ten minutes late, will it still work?

This is the sixth day on my pill, for the past five days i've taken my pill everyday at 4:30 exactly. I looked up at the clock and it was 4:40 and realized i was late! will it still work?I took my birth control ten minutes late, will it still work?

your not silly. It will work. Good habit to take at the same time each day. if you just started to use pill for birth control, use condom or some other type of protection for a least a month. this is what i was told by my dr. and remember pill doesn't protect you from stds.
Yes... minutes late is not a worry. Anthing over 12 or so hours can make a difference. Try to set a time for taking them is easy for you. Just before bed works great. Put a sticky not up as a reminder to yourself.

YES. You can miss out up to three combined pills alltogether and still be covered.
Yes, 10 minutes isn't a problem. It becomes a problem when you wait more than a day to take it.
of course it will still work just as long as your not a day late or four hours or so late your fine.
Ya, most likely. It will still work..it's better than 10 DAYS late...a couple minutes wont make a difference
